Publisher's original textured navy-blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering and likeness of Shevchenko embossed to the front board, captioned with a facsimile of his signature in gilt. Title pages in Spanish, and Ukrainian. Black-and-white portrait frontispiece of Shevchenko followed by two leaves of the original poem, printed in facsimile. Three leaves of photographs depicting various monuments erected to commemorate the revered poet and symbol of the Ukrainian nation, accompanied with a single leaf of [an unattributed] musical score, wherein, the poem has been adapted for music. Comprises of a remarkable fifty-five translations of possibly Shevchecnko's most venerated poem "Zapovit" or "Testament"; one which has been accorded a status second only to the Ukrainian national anthem.
