The book is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It is undated but circa about 1860. The book is illustrated with 9 lovely hand-colored plates as called for. The covers only have some light wear. The interior is lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing and grubbiness. There is an 1863 name inscription to the half title, some tiny inked x's and brackets in fountain pen to the index pages, and a tiny inked "x" to one of the plates. The backside of the rear fep has some small numbers written in blue ink near the top corner. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a very nice copy. The book measures approximately 6 3/4 inches by 4 inches and is 180 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
