Añadir al carritoFair condition - needs to be re-cased. Probable first edition (per OCLC - two other competing imprints also issued in 1897). 586 pages. Hardcover: H 23.75cm x L 19.25cm. No dust jacket. Original gray cloth soiled, rubbed, and stained; tears at frayed spine ends; board corners worn. Text block edges toned and soiled. OCLC cites three 1897 editions - an Atlanta, GA imprint by H.C. Hudgins & Co. and two Richmond imprints by B.F. Johnson Publishing Co. and this Royal Publishing Company imprint. As the author was a Richmond, Virginia resident it is likely that the book was first published in Richmond but it is uncertain which Richmond publisher's edition has priority. Editor Robert A. Brock served with the 21st Virginia Infantry during the Civil War and served as secretary for the Virginia Historical Society as well as the Southern Historical Society. Please note that this thick book has an approximate shipping weight of 4.75 pounds (2.15 kg) and may require additional postage for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.…
