Decorated eps, po name and 1918 date written on ffep. Gilt top page edges, deckle front page edges showing minor foxing, lightly foxed eps, no signs of foxing at all in text pages. Clean, square, unmarked, tight, and odor free. No DJ. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall.

Illustrated by Arthur Rackham with gilt titles and decoration on front cover and spine, 15 mounted colour plates, black and white illustrations in the text and light green ? end papers. Book is firmly bound and the plates are in good order with no creasing. Spine shows some wear, mostly at the top which has frayed. The end papers have some tanning and the front end papers have a little colouring. The very last plate is loose from its mount. First printed in 1909, new impressions 1911 and 1912. (not suitable for sale overseas as postage will considerably exceed the template advertised).
