The town is called Tabulam and is located in the Clarence Valley, near the Clarence River. The town is situated between Tenterfield and Casino. She writes in considerable detail about the history of the town and its people in two volumes: Part 1 (1839 to 1919, 200 pages) and Part 2 (1920 to 1989, 238 pages, numbered separately), same ISBN. The many photos and drawings bring the two books to life, and it would make an interesting addition to any local history library. Foreword by Elyne Mitchell (in Volume 1), who provides extra detail as her father lived near Tabulam.
