Condición: see description. slim 8vo, 56 pages of exquisitely-coloured drawings, so brilliant that they hardly need the accompanying rhyming comic Latin verse, lovely tales of two horrid little boys - And when I came to the fourteen drawings depicting the terror they struck with paper bags of bugs, I knew why I was laughing. [I was remembering that once I was a horrid little girl who, in summertime when after lunch the grown-ups had coffee in the little courtyard on the shady side of the house, would collect the biggest hairiest spiders I could find in the woods above the courtyard. When I found one who agreed to be relocated, I would tickle its web and say, 'Oh Look!' Very hard on the china but my mother would shriek and run into the house to start packing to go to Switzerland where, apparently, they do not have such dirty things.], Presentation label inside the front cover, rubber stamps of the University of Plymouth on front free endpaper, illustrated paper-covered boards clean but top corners bumped, cloth quarter-binding rubbed top and bottom, a few marks on front free endpaper, text and boards very clean/].
