Programme in original colour wraps 21x26cm, individually numbered "2258" to p32. Printed by East African Standard Ltd, Nairobi. 64pp with full-page b/w map, full-page b/w plan, b/w photos and local adverts throughout. Laid in is a photocopy of the plan on a slightly larger scale. Fair only, with blue ink bleeding to the wraps and several page edges though with minimal impact on content. Nevertheless extremely rare with Worldcat and Library Hub recording only one institutional copy of a 1962 edition between them (OCLC 1088536221: Exeter University). Hosted by permission of Station Commander Group Captain J.R.H. Merifield, the Open Day was held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, raise money for the RAF Benevolent Fund, and repay the hospitality shown by residents in the Colony and Protectorates (Merifield's Foreword).
