This volume was produce to accompany an exhibit at The Museum of Contemporary Photography Columbia College Chicago which ran from April 3 till May 29, 1993. Included are images by the photographer Ruth Thorne-Thomsen, text by Denise Miller-Clark, and poems by C. P. Cavafy and Mark Strand. The text is primarily in pages 1-47 followed by 91 plates, and ending with "Documentation" by Stephanie J. Graff through page 155. The text pages and images are clean, bright and without marks. The boards are covered in gray cloth and have white lettering on the front board and spine. There is light edge wear and a small area where the brown coloring of the spine is rubbed. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover. Due to the weight of this volume additional shipping charges will need to be added to those typically required.
