Tan cloth with red and black lettering and illustration. The covers are rubbed and soiled, corners and spine ends frayed, plus a one inch frayed spot on the spine. Internal binding a little wobbly, but still firmly sewn. Pages tanning, school name on front pastedown, smudges on page 5, otherwise no markings. Some corner creases and a few tiny tears to page edges. Not very pretty, but still quite readable. Everychild's Series. The subtitle says: Being stories of treasure seekers, home makers, empire builders, Indian fighters and liberty seekers in the new world.".
