He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The American actor Fredric March (1897-1975) was one of Hollywod's most celebrated stars of the 1930's and 1940s'. He won Academy Awards for his roles in "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and for "The Best Years of Our Lives". He was also nominated for "The Royal Family of Broadway", "A Star is Born" and "Death of a Salesman". March also starred in "Death Takes a Holiday", "The Barretts of Wimpole Street", "The Dark Angel", "I Married a Witch", :Anna Kerenina", "Executive Suite", "The Bridges at Toko-Ri", "The Desperate Hours", among many others, with his final appearance in "The Iceman Cometh" in 1973.
