Covers retain strong color and display appeal with moderate edgewear, small chips and short tears at extremities, corner creasing, and general handling wear consistent with age. Rear cover features period advertising for 'Beside a Babbling Brook' by Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson within an elaborate Art Nouveau-style decorative border. An attractive and well-preserved example of early American popular-music ephemera. First and only printing as issued in 1922, confirmed by the original copyright statement and publisher imprint. The association with Art Landry and His Call of the North Orchestra adds regional dance-band interest. Ted Koehler (1894-1973) would later become famous as one of the great lyricists of the American Songbook, collaborating with Harold Arlen on classics including 'Stormy Weather' and 'I've Got the World on a String.' Jerome H. Remick & Co. was among the dominant American sheet-music publishers of the early twentieth century, helping shape Tin Pan Alley's national reach.

Condición: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This is the sheet music to Truly I Love you, a song was written in 1930 by Walter Hirsch and Frank Magine. It was recorded by Phil Spitalny and His All-Girl Orchestra. Phil Spitalny (1890-1970) was a Russian-born American musician, music critic, composer, and bandleader during the 1930s and 1940s. He had a radio show called the Hour of Charm, and his creation of a female orchestra made him famous. The orchestra appeared in the 1945 Abbott and Costello movie Here Come the Co-Eds in 1945, and Spitalny appeared in When Johnny Comes Marching Home (1942) and on Ed Sullivan's Toast of the Town. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 4 pages of music, plus covers. Superb condition. NOTE: I have a lot of sheet music listed here.
