L'oeuvre est une imitation du roman grec "Les Amours de Rhodanthe et de Dosiclés" d'Eustathe (ou Eumathe) Macrembolite, un écrivain byzantin qui aurait vécu au XIIe siècle.Très bel exemplaire à l'intérieur d'une grande fraîcheur.
