In good plus red cloth pictorial boards, with red, orange and black image of boy carrying straw on his back and black titles, gilt title field to spine with red titles to spine. The boards are flat and quite clean; the hinges are cracked and the front cover is wobbly. The free end papers are slightly tanned and the paste downs are a little marked. There is a dedication on the front free end paper. The text block is quite tightly bound, even and the pages are tanned, especially on the cut edges and the page edges. Publisher's list to rear.
