Hinges sound, but cloth peeling away from the right side of the spine for most of its length (repaired). Association copy with ownership signature of Welsh conchologist John Gwyn Jeffreys on front free endpaper. With a preface by Miller's wife, who also undoubtedly had a hand in bringing the volume to press. Miller committed suicide in 1856.…
