Juni 1819, studirte in Königsberg, Berlin, Halle, Wien, wurde 1840 Doctor, war seit 1841 in Königsberg Arzt, bis 1863 a. o. Prof, der prakt. Med., Director der med. Poliklinik und Medicinalrath, wurde 1863 politisch gemassregelt und legte die genannten Stellungen nieder. Er schrieb von 1845-63 eine Anzahl Abhandlungen im Archiv von Roser, Wunderlich und Griesinger, in der Deutschen Klinik, in VlRCHOW's Archiv, in Casper's Viertjahrschr. und in den Königsberger Med. Jahrbüchern und gab heraus: "Actenstücke der wider mich geführten Disciplinaruntersuchung"- (Leipzig 1864). Er starb 28. August 1887 zu Königsberg i. Pr.
