Glossy black illustrated covers with a color reproduction of Fernand Leger's "The Constructors with Bi…cycles" on the front; small nick to fore edge of front cover; light bumping and creasing to edges and corners of covers and light to moderate surface and edge wear with some mild color loss along edges; light creasing to spine but binding is still sound. Interior pages are clean and unmarked. Errata slip not present (issued with some copies). Exhibition catalog for the exhibition held at the University Art Gallery, 20 June to 10 September 1967, documenting recent acquisitions in modern art at the University Art Museum, University of California, Berkeley, under the directorship of Peter Selz. Features biographical essays and catalogue entries for major works acquired during 1966 and 1967, including works by Karel Appel, Moshe Castel, Gordon Onslow-Ford, Hans Hofmann, Fernand Leger, and others, with contributions by twelve scholars and curators. Catalogue design by Kenneth Bess; typography and letterpress by Bruder Hartmann, West Berlin.
