Condición: Aceptable. Frames: outside: 40,8 x 57,3 cm (16.06 x 22.56 Inch). Inside: 33 x 49,8 cm (13 x 19.6 inch). In order to inspect both works closely, we have unframed them. Provenance, heirs of Fernanda Wanamaker, daughter of Lewis Rodman Wanamaker (1863-1928). CONDITION. Both paintings are sewn to a cardboard, with acidification. They should be unstitched from the original mounts, in order to preserve both, silk painting and cardbord drawings, in better condition. The cardboards are in fragil condition. The most acidified and fragile one, is the one support of 'le Feu'. Both fabrics have loose threads, not affecting the paintings. They are covered and protected by the frames. The frames shows minors defects and lacks, as shown in pictures. Robert Evans Locher was an american Art Deco interior decorator and stage designer. He manteined a long-term romantic relationship with avant-garde artist Charles Demuth. His work was included in the show Murals by American Painters and Photographers (1932, MoMA). …
