Most Anglicans seem to like their own diocesan - 'our bishop' as they call him - but they are as apt as non-Anglicans to be suspicious of 'the bishops'. With these considerations in mind, the Bishop of Llandaff has edited this book about bishops, containing a number of essays, some theological, some popular in tone, intended to give people an idea of what bishops do and are and of the problems which confront them.
