Hardcover bound in black quarter leather with brown cloth-covered boards. The binding is rubbed and bumped with scuffing to the leather spine and the boards. Spine ends especially rubbed. The cloth boards show heavy pale spotting. A sound copy with secure inner hinges. The second front flyleaf has an inscription reading "Ernest P. Bennett / Fort Scott, Kansas". The exterior shows quite a bit of scuffing and soiling with heavy where to the edges. The internal binding of the text pages is good but the two order form pages in the front and rear have been removed. There's also handwriting of additional orders on the back of the first page. There are no publication dates on any of the title pages (ca. 1871 based on the editions of title presented). Please note: this is a salesman display catalog which was used to sell the books.
