While there, he experiences what Lever calls "a mass of incongruous adventures." Written by Charles James Lever, an Irish novelist and raconteur. Illustrated by Carton Moore Park, a British painter, illustrator, and teacher. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Further spotting to the first and last few pages with minor age toning. Worming to the rear pages and endpaper. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Good. book.
