"The late eminent antiquary, Mr. Joseph Ritson, collected, with much labour and care, all the historical and poetical remains he could discover relating to that celebrated character, Robin Hood, which he published in 1795, in two small 8vo. volumes. The present publication is a reprint of that work, which has now become exceedingly scarce and expensive.
