Hardcover. Condición: VG+. 1st Edition. Hardcover, no dust jacket. First edition thus with no additional printings on copyright page. A beautiful example with sharp corners and bright colors. There's some spotting on the boards, the upper left corner looks like it once had a price sticker on it and the rear board has some spots.… There isn't some minor spotting on the fore edges as well. Those are the reasons why this is not listed as fine condition. Interior is beautiful - decorated end pages are clear of any handwriting or bookplates, as well as rest of book. Binding is good, pages are clean, and the title page is so nice that it had us double-checking but to make sure the copyright date was correct. See photos. J. Clinton Shepherd (ilustrador).

The waking hourse were mostly devoted to the exercise of those faculties which would one day make him famious. Keen of brain and eye, with an infallible nose, and a body already far beyond his kind in size and power, he drifted slowly south.
