A retrospective of a Science Fiction writers' workshop hosted by Le Guin in Melbourne in coordination with the 33rd annual 'Aussiecon' (World Science Fiction Convention) held in 1975. The collection features 22 short Sci-Fi pieces by participants including 2 stories by Le Guin first published here: 'The Eye Altering' and 'No Use to Talk to Me.' With a 7-page introduction by Le Guin narrating her experience in Australia and at the workshop, along with her general vision / anti-vision for a writers' workshop. Later reprinted in the US by Berkeley in an expanded edition with additional material.
