Condición: Good. 1930. Third Edition. 223 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Light foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Annotations, underlining and marginalia in pencil throughout; text remains unaffected. Light cracking and staining to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Cloth. Condición: Good -. No Jacket. 166pp., + 32pp. publishers lists, 4 bw illustrations. Blue-grey cloth with Art Nouveau type designs on front and spine, gilt lettering to spine and front. Extremities bumped, creased and rubbed, edgewear, some spots to edges of front board, slight 'bubbling' of cloth and discolouration to back board, spine shaken, rear hinge just breaking. Sunday School Inscription on front pastedown dated 1913, foxing and browning to eps and along page edges.

Back cover soiled but still a very attractive copy. Missing front end paper. Inscription on half-title. Foxing on back end papers not affecting text. Four full-page b/w illustrations including frontispiece. Pages tanned with age around edges. The final 32 pages of advertisements are printed on lighter paper and the pages have not yet been cut open.
