The images depict scenes from The Life & Voyages of Christopher Columbus, Astoria, Tour on the Prairies, Newstead Abbey, Life of Mahomet, Life of Oliver Goldsmith, Bonneville's Adventures in the Far West, The Crayon Papers, and Moorish Chronicles. Title page included for reference. Full pages measure 10.25" x 6.75". Nice for framing. Irving, 1783-1859, was an early American author and historian known for his delightful tales & sketches, including The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle.
