Februar 1856 in Berlin war Historiker, Geschichtslehrer und Romanist, veröffentlichte u.a. die Schrift "De abundanti dicendi genere Lucretiano" (1881), eine "Illustrierte Weltgeschichte", eine Schrift über den Erzbischof Friedrich von Mainz (1895) sowie ein französisches Taschenwörterbuch.
