A daybook-style volume with entries for every day of the year, each with a blank recto for inscribing birthdays of friends or associates, facing short excerpts from Dickens's works compiled by his daughter Mary Dickens. Includes scattered line illustrations by Kate Perugini (née Dickens) , the youngest daughter of Charles Dickens. No birthday entries filled in. Several period clippings and bits of ephemera laid in.
