Mit zusammen 2 handkolorierten Titelblättern und 50 handkolorierte gestochene Tafeln sowie 1 Blatt Notenzeilen und 2 schwarz-weiße gesto…chene Tafeln. Zusammen in einem Original-Halbleder mit goldgeprägtem schmalen Einbandrücken und marmoriertem Buchschnitt, 4° ( 27,5 x 18 cm ). Die handkolorierten Tafeln mit reizenden, teils humoristischen und vermenschlichten Pflanzendarstellungen Grandvilles. Das Werk enthält unter anderem die Texte "Botanique des dames" und "Horticulture des dames". Der Einband ist berieben, Ecken und Kanten sind bestoßen, der schmale Einbandrücken zum oberen Kapital hin angeplatzt. Innen sind wenige Seiten gering fleckig, einige Seiten mit geringem schwachen Wasserrand zum rechten Außenrand hin außerhalb des Textes. Die schönen handkolorierten Tafeln von guter Erhaltung. The hand-colored plates with charming, partly humorous and humanized depictions of plants by Grandville. The work also contains the texts "Botanique des dames" and "Horticulture des dames". The binding is rubbed, corners and edges are bumped, the narrow spine is chipped towards the upper capital. Inside, a few pages are slightly stained, some pages with slight faint tidemark towards the right outer margin outside the text. The beautiful hand-colored plates in good condition. Les planches coloriées à la main présentent de charmantes illustrations botaniques, parfois humoristiques et anthropomorphisées, de Grandville. L'ouvrage comprend, entre autres textes, «Botanique des dames» et «Horticulture des dames». La reliure est frottée, les coins et les bords sont émoussés, et le dos fin est fendu en haut. À l'intérieur, quelques pages sont légèrement roussies, et certaines présentent une légère tache d'humidité sur la tranche droite, hors du texte. Les magnifiques planches coloriées à la main sont en bon état.
