She wrote and illustrated many short stories, which were published in various children's magazines and annuals, mainly in the 1930s and 40s. Originally secured by staples, the pages have apparently become loose, and have been repaired by a previous owner, using tape. Ink written note at the bottom of the title page, indicating the author's address. An author's note states 'This is a story of a family of merry children and their adventures in their home playground, a Pine Wood, where they meet Red Indians, Pirates, Brownies, eytc.,all of which however, eventually prove to have a natural explanation'.
