Johnson has contributed a poem to this issue called "Waiting," which Hanes praises in the letter along with bemoaning his lack of time for editing due to his day job of legal work: ".how I get it out at all is a miracle to me. It seems to have a certain momentum of its own -- poets hold back until about the end of each season, and then they come in rushing, hundreds upon hundreds. and when the time comes to publish I lock myself away from the world and the law and let THE LYRIC really rule." . 21x14cm, [12]pp. Laid in is 2 pg typed letter, signed on Lyric stationary from editor, Leigh Hanes to Siddie Joe Johnson.
