Condición: Very Good Condition. Seven documents, 4 legal documents on paper, one on vellum, and two finely colored maps of the property. Two multiple page document on paper (one is three sheets 12" x 16", the other 12.5" x 8" and 13 sheets), the others are large (ca. 28" x 20") single sheet documents. The plans are 12.5" x 16" a…nd depict the property on Pownal Bay, the road leading from Charlotte Town to Georgetown, and are dated 4th of May. 1830. A few documents with splits at the folds, significant to the large conveyances, but no real loss. Small splits to the plans. The 3 manuscript conveyances for '348 Acres of Land parce of Lot No. 49, late belonging to Joseph Aplin Esquire, Prince Edward Island', from John Webster to Peter Macgowan, 1801, the second dated 1802 between Peter Macgowan, Ann Macgowan, and Allan Cummen, farmer, and the third dated 1818 between Richard Edwards and James MacBraire, plus a copy of the Chancery Decree relating to the same estate dated 1818, a copy of the deed to the estate dated 1878.
