This book is a landmark publication that transformed Southwestern archaeology. It provides an in-depth analysis of Pueblo II (Basketmaker III to Pueblo III) village excavations and reshapes the cultural and taxonomic classification of Ancestral Puebloans. The excavations were carried on during three field seasons 1931-33. 234 Rooms were cleared, which included 195 storage and living rooms and 29 subterranean and semisubterranian pit houses and kivas. A clean very presentable copy.
