Forty players from eight countries competed. The book is a record of the tournament with games, diagrams, commentary, results and photographs. Michael Rohde captured first with 8 points, followed by Leonid Shamkovich with 71/2. Tied for third through fourth were Eugene Meyer and Larry Kaufman with 7 points each.
