Bisher ist John Cowper Powys im deutschen Sprachraum vorwiegend als Autor großer Romane bekannt. Jetzt erscheint bei Zweitausendeins eine Edition von Powys essayistischem Werk. "Was wir Kultur nennen, ist eigentlich nur eine ausgeklügelte geistige Methode, noch im Maul des Drachen ein wenig Glück zu ergattern." Kultur als Lebenskunst.
