RareBookHub records only one copy at auction since 1902. An unauthorised reprint intended to appear as a different work was published in 1833 in Stuttgart under the title "Thesaurus eroticus linguae latinae." purportedly by a 'Carl Rambach'. Quérard states that the work "donne l'explication des mots techniques de la jurisprudence et de la médecine, qui tiennent aux moeurs, à la physiologie et aux lois du temps, de ces expressions figurées en usage dans la classe élevée des Romains, enfin de ce langage populaire qui n'est devenu licencieux que dans les livres modernes.
