Hardback. Condición: Good. *A>New York Times>Bestseller* Through the author's extensive connections within the royal household, this dynamic new biography tells the full story of how Catherine, the Princess of Wales, became the woman she is today. Kate Middleton's life's story seems like a modern-day fairy-tale. An attractive, clever, and ambitious girl from unexceptional beginnings meets and falls in love with a wealthy prince when they are both college undergraduates. Now, with the British monarchy in transition, Catherine is destined to become the first commoner Queen in British history since Anne Hyde, wife of James I. Since her wedding on April 29th, 2011--and since becoming the Duchess of Cambridge--Catherine has endeared herself to the people of the Britain and America with her extensive travels, with her infectious smile, sense of style, and down-to-earth nature. With her self-deprecation, willingness to laugh at herself, solid work-ethic--along with William's warmth, and accessibility--this dynamic duo has become the most popular members of the royal family. As interest in the royals continues to gain legions of new, younger fans, there is increasing interest in the histories and back stories of the principal players in this story. Through the author's connection with sources both on and off the record within the royal household, this dynamic new biography tells the full story of how Catherine became the woman she is today.…

Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. 1st Edition. This is the Thomas Nelson and Sons (UK) hardcover first edition, with "First published 1954" on its copyright page, and a full color plate facing its title page. This 71 year old book is in very good condition for its age, marred only by light wear on its spine ends, slight sunfade along its covers' top edges, and some faint soiling on edges of its page block (not extending onto page faces.) Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unmarked and unworn, with no apparent age toning. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in good condition, still colorful but slightly toned and faded, marred by several condition issues: a 1/2" chip off the top of its spine, 1/4" chips in the top of its flap folds, wear along its front flap fold and on the bottom of its spine, a 1/2" stain on its back flap (not obscuring any text), and a corner-clipped front flap.I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. R. J. Jobson (ilustrador).…
