With a number of personal reminiscences, providing a glimpse into various significant sights and scenes. Written by Beatrice M. W. Jesson, author of Twenty-four Strokes of the Pen. In publisher's original blue cloth binding. Signed by the author to the title page, dated February 18th 1938, with the inscription "In the sunshine on the Nile". Externally, very smart with slight bumping and rubbing and a few marks. Secondary signature from a previous owner to the first page. Internally, generally firmly bound with the odd delicate page, namely to pages 176 through 179, the plate facing page 179 being loose but present.
