Designed by architects Bertil Engstrand and Hans Speek in 1965, dates back to a time when Sweden was enjoying an unprecedented economic boom. Society was deeply influenced by economic growth, general optimism and a belief in the future. The church gives clear expression to the spirit of the times. The construction of the building is light with a supporting frame and sheeting all made of slow-oxidising Corteen steel resting on a cast concrete slab.
