Richardson, TX: Privately Produced by "HWN"/R.A.M.S. [Restorers of Alchemical Manuscripts Society] , 1988. Two documents from Nintzel's "Alchemy Class on Antimony" May 8, 1988 - May 29, 1988. The two comb bound titles are "Alchemy Of Antimony", by Hans W. Nintzel that shows top edge wear (see scan), and copy of Stuart's Edition of "The Triumphal Chariot Of Antimony", by Basil Valentinus, touch of age, otherwise Fine. Included with the above two works are three Magnum Opus Hermetic Sourceworks xerox copies of : "The Crowning Of Nature" (Sourceworks Number 3), "The Revelation Of Revelations" (Sourceworks Number 10), "The Key Of Jacob Boehme/The Clavis" (Sourceworks Number 9). All three comb bound, in thick covers, and appear Unread, with many a page sticking in need of being opened, still, all approaching Fine. Also included is an unbound copy of the R.A.M.S. [Restorers of Alchemical Manuscripts Society] edition of Liber Ratziel, extremity wear, light age, and a Pathworking Audio Cassete Tape, recorded and spoken by Nintzel. As above, varying conditions, hence, a Very Good+ set of Seven items. Soft Cover/Comb Binding. Very Good+. SEDIR, Secrétaire du Groupe indépendant d'Etudes ésotériques Paris, Chamuel, 1894, in-8, demi-chagrin rouge de l'époque, pièce de titre noire en long (frottée, avec manques), premier plat conservé, relié en fin de volume. Les deux premiers feuillets ont été renforcés en marge intérieure. Papier uniformément jauni. Edition originale de la traduction de Paul Sédir, précédée d'une notice bio-bibliographique dont les lignes qui suivent sont extraites : « Les oeuvres de cette illuminée, d'abord élève puis directrice du médecin John Pordage, et fondatrice de la Société des Philadelphes, comprennent exclusivement, non des traités hermétiques, mais des amplifications de mysticisme chrétien. Elle était voyante et, de même que Boehme, ne décrit que les tableaux intérieurs qui se sont déroulés devant elle [.] Tous ses ouvrages ont été traduits en allemand à Amsterdam, 1696-1698, par un anonyme qui ne fut pas inconnu de Gichtel. On trouvera dans la Correspondance de Saint-Martin avec Kirchberger beaucoup de passages ayant trait à cette école de mystiques. En effet, la « Philadelphian Society » exista entre 1697 et 1704 avec pour objet la diffusion et l'application de la pensée de Jacob Boehme. Spencer Lewis lui accorda les lignes suivantes : « Une des plus belles histoires allégoriques sur le développement mystique, est celle qu'écrivit Jane Leade, célèbre dirigeante de la Loge « Philadelphie » de Londres. Ce fut cette dernière, qu'incidemment, les rosicruciens venant d'Allemagne et d'autres pays visitèrent, pendant quelques semaines, avant de s'embarquer en Europe pour émigrer en Amérique en 1693-1694 afin d'y établir la première organisation rosicrucienne du Nouveau-Monde ». Randfehlstellen; 1 Blatt (II,S.175) mit fast unsichtbar hinterlegtem Riss; die letzen beiden Blatt leicht beschädigt, sonst recht gut. Von interessanter Provinienz: Vorsatzblatt mit Stempel des Wiener Psychoanalytikers Herbert Silberer (1882-1922), der für seine Arbeiten über (alchemistische) Symbolik bekannt ist.
