Omar Khayyam was a Persian mathematician and astronomer, born in the 2nd Century. He gained great popularity for his poetry after the translation of Edward Fitzgerald. Collated, complete. With a former owner's inscription, dated 1912, to the verso of the front free endpaper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with minor discolouration to back strip and board perimeters. Splits to cloth at front and rear joints, with boards holding firm. Hinges lightly strained. Inscription to verso of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good. Frank Brangwyn (ilustrador). book.…
