Iinternally, stain visible on first and last few leaves, the same, approximately 1/2 inch deep, on the top edges a several dozen leaves, previous owner's inscription (in pencil) , hinges cracked between a few of the gatherings, with a central one just barely attached, occasional bit of foxing, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked.
