Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. J.F. Colton & Co., AZ. This regimental is based on the diaries of Matthias Baldwin Colten and William Francis Colten. They present a history of a well-traveled cavalry regiment of the Army of the Cumberland. The Fifteenth saw action at Antietam, Stones River and Chickamauga. The Coltens kept detailed diaries and addressed a variety of things. There are four folding maps that detail the travels of the two brothers and their regiment. The author is the niece of the brothers. Very good copy of the first edition. No dust jacket, but the book has pictorial boards. 414 pages.
