This is the 27-28th issue ( fascicule in French) of the prestigeous Brussels' periodical devoted to the art of the book. It covers the whole subject : typography, lettering , binding, illustration.Its pre-war publications (before 1914) are rightly famous for the beautiful typographical execution. The project , animated by Henri Liebrecht, could rely on the aid of the main Brussels printing houses, paper and ink suppliers. ( e.g. Imprimerie Goossens, établ. Malvaux .). They published 4 issues per year ( fascicules ), some of these issues were accompanied by plates ( not on offer here ). Nice contemporary overview of Belgian poster design ( end of the 19th c.).…
