Sheet Music. This is a jazz / big / dance / swing band music chart dating from around the 1950s. It has never been used, just stored in a warehouse. The chart is in good condition. The chart contains a piano conductor and parts for violins, bass, saxophones 1-5, trumpets 1-3, trombones 1-2, guitar & drums. The arrangement states that it is arranged to suit any combination from trio to full dance orchestra. Part of the Wright Evergreen series of Orchestrations.

Original Jazz Age sheet music edition featuring a striking Art Deco-influenced cover illustration credited to Art Phillips, depicting an elegant Parisian woman in an oversized orange-and-black fashion hat rendered in bold minimalist lines and sophisticated period color blocking. The design captures the cosmopolitan style emerging in postwar fashion illustration and early Roaring Twenties graphic design. Interior pages include bilingual English/French lyrics with French text by Jean Nelis, reinforcing the song's continental theme and Parisian café atmosphere. Composer Irving Bibo (1889-1962) was a prolific Tin Pan Alley songwriter remembered for dance-band and novelty compositions of the 1910s-30s, while lyricist Leo Wood contributed words to numerous jazz-era standards, including 'Somebody Stole My Gal.' The credited cover artist, Art Phillips, produced highly stylized commercial illustration work during the 1910s and 1920s, and this cover stands as an especially strong example of early American Art Deco sheet music design. The reverse advertises contemporary Leo Feist hits including 'Underneath Hawaiian Skies' and 'Nestle in Your Daddy's Arms.' Condition: Very Good. Complete and well-preserved example with clean interior music pages and strong unfaded cover colors. Light edge wear, faint creasing, and minor corner rubbing consistent with age and handling. Small closed edge tears and mild surface wear visible along margins; no major losses or detached pages. Rear advertising panel intact and clean. Edition/printing: original 1921 first edition - early printing with Leo Feist imprint and period copyright present throughout.
