I have a number of books about photography and photographers and am pleased to add another. This medium-sized hard cover book (7 ¼ x 10 ¼ inches, 288 pages) was published by Little, Brown and Company of Boston dated 1991 and the First Printing of the First Edition (so stated). It is inscribed by the photographer Bob Adelman to his photographer colleague Alfred Eisenstaedt. Adelman s photos are sprinkled throughout the book and add immeasurably to the text by Ira Glasser, about the quest for liberty. Glasser at the time was Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some very minor rolling to the edges at the top and bottom of the spine. The hard covers are bright and clean and barely bumped. Inside, the only mark I found in the book is the extensive inscription by Adelman to Eisenstaedt on the title page. The interior pages are bright and clean throughout as you would expect of a book of recent vintage. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound.
