The frontispiece and the rest of the illustrations are tipped in on thick dark brown paper. This book is very tight. The boards have a little wear and some edgewear with bumped corners. The backstrip has fading with edgewear on the top & bottom. The lettering on the backstrip is barely visible. The front inside cover has a bookplate with names. The endpapers have discoloration. The pre-pages and introduction have a few spots of light foxing. The dark brown illustration pages have no damage.
