Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Cover Art; This book is in Very Good condition and has a Good dust jacket. The book is in generally clean, bright condition. There is some beginning bumping to the spine ends of the book covers, and there is a thin strip of fading to the top spine end and also to the top two inches of the front and rear spine joints. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's ink stamped name and address ( William J. Carey) on the front endpaper. The price clipped dust jacket has edge tears, nicks, rubbed spots, small chips to the extremities (especially the top spine end) and some spots of foxing / toning to the bottom third of the rear cover. This is the first ever anthology based on a particular subject (in this case, the Conquest of Space). This anthology also includes Isaac Asimov's "Bridle and Saddle" which is a story in the Foundation universe. The contents include: Trends by Isaac Asimov, Men Against the Stars by Manly Wade Wellman, The Red Death of Mars by Robert Moore Williams, Locked Out by H. B. Fyfe, the Iron Standard by Henry Kuttner and C. L. Moore (as Lewis Padgett) , Schedule by Harry Walton, Far Centaurus by A. E.
