This book is a 1982 facsimile of the records of the Beggar's Benison of Anstruther, a sort of Scottish Hellfire Club that flourished between 1732 and 1836 in the fishing village of Anstruther in Fife. This pseudo-knightly order met twice a year at Castle Dreel in a room known as the Temple and wined and dined and indulged in all-night sessions of lasciviousness. 147 pages. Blue faux leather cover.
