The second edition. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Illustrated with 76 pages of photographs of the collection of 222 clocks. David Arthur Wet…herfield brought together perhaps the greatest private collection of English domestic clocks. After his death, the collection was sold, about half going to America (despite his wishes) and the remainder staying in the UK. It was particularly rich in longcase grandfather clocks, with a good selection of bracket and lantern clocks, all purely English designs. This is a catalogue of these clocks from the Wetherfield Collection, sold at auction by W.
