Gould was also a journalist, reviewer and essayist who was made chief reader for Victor Gollancz Ltd, where he was involved in the early publication history of George Orwell.This series was edited by Humbert Wolfe, an Italian-born British poet, man of letters and civil servant. Bound in quarter cloth, with decorative paper covered boards.Externally, very smart, with really only minor rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
